Alec Shelbrooke MP and Lawrence Tomlinson discuss care policy

Fifty members of the Institute of Directors enjoyed getting close to some British Motor Racing icons, last night, when they had a tour of the Ginetta Cars factory in Garforth, Leeds as part of a visit to the LNT Group. The group met Chairman and successful racing driver Lawrence Tomlinson, as well as seeing the Ginetta G50 in action in the capable hands of Nigel Moore.
They also had the opportunity to see the Ginetta G50EV electric sportscar prototype and the Ginetta F400 Supercar both of which have just returned from taking part in the Grande Parade Des Pilotes at Le Mans.
David Powell of Auditel, who organised the event on behalf of the IoD, said: ““LNT group and Ginetta put on a great event for the IOD and showed what we in Yorkshire can achieve. The IoD Young Directors Forum plans many more behind the scenes events showcasing Yorkshire companies in the future and we only hope that they live up to the high bar set by Ginetta.
“The IoD crowd were stunned by the new F400 supercar and once they had proven that two sets of golf clubs would fit in the boot there was serious interest from some in placing an order”.
