We are recruiting for a MIG Welder/Fabricator

Principal accountabilities:

  • I.G welder/fabricator to work in the Fabrication Department
  • To assist the fabrication team with the build schedule of fabricated components
  • To manufacture components using technical drawings
  • I.G weld mild steel
  • Sub-assembly of fabricated components including use of jigs
  • Basic T.I.G welding ability is beneficial but not essential

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by Group management from time to time.

You will work closely with the wider team to analyse customer and competitor care homes and demographics in a specific area. Your role will include comprehensive desktop and phone research alongside visiting existing care homes to provide information on the current Care Home provision in various locations. Such research will focus on the visual presentation of existing Care Homes, quality of staff, provision of facilities and services they provide, alongside fee levels and vacancies.

The role will also provide the wider team and external parties with comprehensive reports and presentations to demonstrate their findings.

The ideal person will have excellent attention to detail and good observation skills. You will need to be comfortable in a variety of new environments and have strong administration skills to be able to be accurate and descriptive when writing up reports to then present to the team.

Job requirements

You will be required to travel to different locations across the UK in your own vehicle and will be paid mileage. Weekly trips to head office in Leeds (LS25) will also be required.

Managing sales in the Northern Region

As a Ginetta Wiring Technician, you will be working to produce wiring looms & harnesses for a number of high-end road and race cars, whilst paying particular attention to the packaging and integration of electrical systems onto the vehicles to optimise performance.

A background in electronics is preferred but not essential, and any experience/competencies in other aspects of automotive manufacture is also beneficial.   • A good understanding of construction, with qualification in joinery.
  • 1st fix and 2nd fix
  • Erecting stud walls Skirtings and Architraves Fitting of Fire Doors
  • Motivated and professional with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods and materials and a keen eye on the detail.
  • Able to read and work from technical construction drawings
  • Joinery qualifications or a proven time served history (3 years minimum)
  • Working well within a group environment

 

CSCS Card also required.

Monday – Friday

40 hours per week

Construction sites are UK wide.

You will be required to have your own vehicle to travel to site, and have your own tools.

Main tasks:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent parts sales service and aftercare.
  • Proactively encourage additional sales to race car customers.
  • Process day to day sales enquiries received by phone, e-mail & website.
  • Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance during the parts ordering process 
  • Attend Motorsport events in the UK and potentially overseas, including race weekends.
  • Manage the parts dispatch team.
  • Proactively lead achievement of the department’s parts sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning sales activities, changing department’s processes). 
  • Provide an accurate forecast for parts and rebuild sales on a monthly basis, write and issue reports.
  • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales.
     

Qualifications/Key Attributes:

  • Proven work experience in a sales role or order processing role.  
  • Motorsport industry experience is beneficial 
  • Excellent English communication skills 
  • Ability to manage a team 
  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus 
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) 
  • Sage Line 200 experience beneficial but can be trained.
  • In possession of a valid driving license
